Endometrial Scratching

Endometrial scratching is a procedure applied to women who experience recurrent IVF failure despite high-quality embryo transfer. Endometrial scratching is especially recommended for women with thin endometrial line. This procedure triggers the body to release chemicals and hormones to repair the scratched area, which makes the uterine lining more susceptible to embryo implantation. Endometrial scratching is done one month before IVF treatment. It is a painless procedure performed with a hysteroscopy which takes about 15-20 minutes. We observe significant improvement in pregnancy rates in women who underwent endometrial scratching in our clinic.
